DARF's super girl driver -
Usually it is the men drivers that are stealing the stardom at area tracks
but last Saturday night at Columbus Motor Speedway that was not the case as
DARF member driver Sloan Henderson swept the NASCAR Whelen All-American
Series division. Celebrating her 18th birthday she received the best present
one could ever imagine when she set fast time, won the fast car dash and
then literally put the icing on the cake when she became the first female
driver to win a late model feature at the Columbus oval. Congratulations
Sloan.
