DARF Schedules Three Dates at Moler Raceway Park

Dayton, OH. - Moler Raceway Park is the latest track to grant members of the Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club track nights. The popular quarter-mile dirt track near Williamsburg, Ohio will host the members to three dates, July 6, August 24, and September 21.

The July 6 will be phantom Fireworks Night with a large fireworks display after a full program of Late Models, Street Stocks, Chevettes, Crazy Compacts highlighted by a $1500 to win modified feature.

August 24 will be Fan Appreciation night with all classes running and featuring a $600 to win Street Stock special along with an autograph session on the frontstretch.

September 21 will be the season championship and last points event for all classes topped by a $2000 to win Late Model feature.

All current DARF members will be admitted at half off to the grandstands for these special DARF nights.

Moler Raceway Park joins Shady Bowl, Southern Ohio Speedway and Gas City I-69 so far in offering the club events this year and many more tracks and dates will be added as they are received.

DARF Schedules Shady Bowl

Dayton, OH. - The Dayton Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club's track dates for 2012 are starting to roll in. Shady Bowl Speedway, south east of DeGraff is the third track to offer DARF a date thus far.

On April 21 Shady Bowl owner Linda Young and staff will host the members to a night of Late Model, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Compacts, and the new Tuner cars at the rural 3/10th mile asphalt oval that was recently repaved at the close of the 2011 season.

DARF members will be admitted free of charge to the grandstands. Information and the tracks schedule can be seen on the tracks website www.shadybowl.com.

DARF Adds Five Dates at Gas City

Dayton, OH. - It will be a busy season this year at Gas City I-69 Speedway for members of the Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club as the track will host five DARF track dates. Members will be admitted at half-off general admission to the grandstands on May 18, June 22, July 27, August 10, and September 24.

Action on the quarter-mile semi-banked clay oval will be provided by Non-Wing Sprints, UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Thunder Cars with the exception of June 22 when the USAC Ford Focus Midgets will be added to the program.

DARF Adds Southern Ohio Speedway to Schedule

Dayton, OH. - The members of the Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club will be treated to a new track this season. Though the track has a long and rich history, it will be the first visit by DARF at Southern Ohio Speedway near Wheelersburg, Ohio.

Thanks to promoter T. J. Lane and associates, on May 18, SOS will host the club to a program of $2,000 to win late models, steel block late models, modifieds, and sport stocks on the half-mile semi-banked dirt oval.

DARF members will be admitted to the grandstand for just $5 and as a bonus each member will be issued a pit pass so they can venture through the pit area to meet and greet the drivers and get a close look at the race cars.

2012 DARF Car Show on tap

    The Dayton Auto Fans (DARF) club has scheduled their yearly car show for Saturday & Sunday, March 10 &11. The annual "Toys for Kids" Charity Car Show will once again be held at Lang's Chevrolet, located at State Route 35 and Orchard Lane, in Beavercreek, Ohio.

    Show hours are: Saturday 9am-8pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. Opening Ceremonies will take place on Saturday at 11am. Admission is $5.00 for Adults, with Kids free. The show will feature Sprint Cars, Late Model's, Modifieds, Stock Cars, Legend Cars, Dwarf Cars, Go Karts, Drag Cars, Compacts, Vintage Race Cars, and Race Track Displays.

    Vendors will be selling Die Cast Cars, along with T-shirts and Pins. And you don't want to miss Ronald McDonald, as well as, other Clowns.

    DARF will have food for sale.

    Lang's Chevrolet has donated their building to DARF for many years for the "Toys for Kids" car show.

   ALL proceeds Benefit the DARF "Toys for Kids" at Christmas.
