Quarter Midget Racing is a Motor Sport-Racing program for children ages 5 to 16 years old. It is a sport that the entire family gets involved. The cars are 1/4-scaled Midget racecars. These cars feature fiberglass/aluminum bodies built around tubular chassis with fully integrated roll cages, adjustable independent suspensions, and are powered by high performance 4 cycle industrial engines. Tracks are made of concrete, asphalt, or dirt. Tracks are 1/20th of a mile in length. The outdoor race season runs from April through October, while the indoor race season runs from November through February. Many successful drivers received their start in Quarter Midget series such as:  Bobby & Terry Labonte, Tony Stewart, Mark Martin, and Jeff Gordon, just to name a few.
